Before and After: Part 3 Final Renovation Post!

Wow, what a journey! So here it is, the final FaithSpun post on our Young Victorian. An amazing home that we absolutely loved! Part 1 of this final post started us off in the downstairs rooms and Part 2 finished the downstairs spaces. This time we’ll be looking at all of the before and after photos of the upstairs rooms and the basement, our final project before the sale of the home. Lets take a look at the following: upstairs foyer, turret room (formerly Warren’s office), guest bedroom, guest bathroom, master bedroom, master bathroom, and the basement! Can’t believe this is it, but here we go!

Okay, I’m gonna say Wow! again because I can’t believe we’re at the end of this story. Reliving this renovation project through FaithSpun has been so much fun! It was a huge project but the end results for us were so worth it. We loved living in this special place. We loved being able to transform it from a neglected house to a cherished home. And we love that a whole new family is now there and loving their home too!

Selling this place was a tough decision but one we have never regretted. If you haven’t read my post about that decision, jump over now to catch up. Nearly four and a half months after the sale, we have a new home in a new state and God is still good! While this is the last post on our Young Victorian, it’s not the last post on FaithSpun. I will be writing more! While our new home is in need of some work, I won’t be documenting nor sharing the process publicly. It’s a sweet, humble home, but we’re taking it slow this time and settling in nicely before we take on any big stuff! Oh and there’s a lake involved so we’ve got some time on the water in our near future and for now we’re just waiting for the warm days!

Thanks to all of you who have followed along on this journey. I hope it was fun for you too!

Blessings, take care, and dream big!

I am simply a wife, mom to four (2 humans and 2 dogs), and grandma to three sweet kiddos. I am a humble human working hard to build a stronger relationship with both my God and others; relationships that will prayerfully lead to more people coming to know the Good News of Jesus Christ. I'm learning to spin a little more faith into everything I do, every single day!
